The broader issue has to do with a growing realization that over the last 30 years or years the traditional values of the American People have come under steady fire. In this period, many of us have lost confidence in our right and duty to affirm publicly the desirability of what most of us believe privately. We allowed our social and cultural institutions to drift away from what they were suppose to be (their moorings) - they have become naked. We ceased being clear about standards which we hold and the principles by which we judge, or, if we were clear in our own minds. We somehow abdictated the public discussion and institutional decision making to those who challenged our traditional values. As a result, we are having continuous - Breaking Down of What We Valued of Society itself! In areas of education, family life, crime and drug use. We also have a breakdown with attitudes toward sex, drug use as well as individual responsibility, civic duty and public service. What can we do to get America where it honors our Founding Fathers, the Constitution, Bill of Rights and our Declaration of Independence! We Need Common Sense - True Leadership - Honesty - Accountability - Term Limits for All Elected Officials! We also Need to Start Talking Honestly to Each Other without Blame!
