ive a 20 ft cabin cruiser and looking for a fairly cheap permanent mooring on a lake or on the sea
if not in the water but with an area thats easily accessable to the water launchable , im a keen fisherman so with access to good fishing
if anyone has any ideas please let me know

You don't say where you want the boat in the country as charges differ, may I remind you a wooden boat out of water for long periods dries out then won't float.

- Brightlingsea Park and Ride: keep the boat out of the water. Turn up and say "launch now". and the boat is put into the water ready for you to climb aboard.

- You don't say where in the country you are. All coastal areas have mooring available. I have a swinging mooring on the Medway, accessible all tides and cheap.0% 0 Votes
- My first Charter boat was 22' long and it was simplest to dry store it and launch when needed. You didn't mention if you have the boat on a trailer or not but if you do, find a storage area near a boat ramp and you can be in the water underway in less than an hour whenever you want. You'll find that not only is it cheaper than a dock or mooring ball, it is a lot less maintenance on the parts that are normally under water. Your hull and prop don't corrode nearly as much or get fouled up with all kinds of crap. Also, I never had to go through the expense of anti-fouling the bottom and after 4 years was as clean as the day I bought it, another saving.0% 0 Votes
